I'm refusing to say Aaron had his first "haircut" because, really we just trimmed his bangs. Poor guy, his hair has grown so long that his bangs have been falling into his eyes. It got so bad that he truly started to squint involuntarily, even when they were pushed aside. He also thought it was fun to shake his head and make all his bangs hang over his eyes. But then they'd get stuck in his ridiculously long eyelashes and he'd blink and blink, to no avail until I swept them aside. So, we waited until Kevin had a few spare moments in his crazy schedule this past week, and he did the deed. Outcome was pretty cute, though now the back is so much longer than the front, he looks like he has a mullet (definition according to wikipedia=a hairstyle [from the 1980's]that is short at the front and sides, and long in the back, often referred to as "business in the front, party in the back." ! :) As much as I hate to admit it, I think it's probably time to trim up (not CUT) the back, where his adorable curls are. :( I'm sure it will still look pretty cute.
