We had fun celebrating Father's Day with Kevin, his dad (aka Pop and Grampa), and Robert, one of Pop's co-workers. We took them out to eat at Red, Hot and Blue, a bar-b-q place in Fairfax. Aaron had his first taste of baked beans and REALLY liked them. We limited his intake, fearing the ramifications in his diaper later on that night. Luckily, nothing major happened. Among the gifts of golf shirts and golf balls was a special book that Kevin got from his family, called "The Dangerous Book for Boys" (I think that's the correct title!). It's basically a "how-to" and "things you need to know" book of sorts, which things like "how to tie various knots" and "what are the 7 wonders of the world." We got it a few years back for his brother, and always thought it would be so fun for Kevin to have if we ever had a boy, which we did. :) As Aaron grows up, we hope to encorporate the fun elements of the book as teaching tools, as we teach him about the Lord and His principles.
