Hiatus--definition: a pause, interruption. It's probably pretty obvious that I've been taking an elongated break from my blog. It may seem like no big deal to just sit and jot down a few words, post a few photos, but for me, updating my blog is a labor of love. For whom, I'm not sure. But it feels like a labor, not something I particularly enjoy. I WANT to enjoy it, but it truly stresses me out. And I refrain from keeping current on other things that I used to be pretty on top of...like keeping Snapfish updated and shared, emailing out photos to family, printing photos to put in scrap books or frames, and now, trying to stay current on Facebook (which I THINK is easier now through Snapfish, but haven't tried it yet!). SO, all that said, I'll probably try to draft posts here and there, for my own viewing pleasure, but not sure when I'll get back to frequent blogging. I know it's a great way to keep people informed and connected, not to mention tracking our lives, but the cost is too great. I'm too stressed and that doesn't help me to be and become the Christ-follower, wife, mother, relative, friend, etc. I hope for.
Here are a few photos to appease those sadly dissapointed by this post. :) For the record, Isaac is now 3 months, and doing VERY well. His birth story is one I plan to type up and post, if I do nothing else! It was truly a miracle, as far as I'm concerned (he was healthy, just the fact that I did not have to have the cesarean after all).
Signing off....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks for a few words and pictures....it's great to hear from you!
