18 months

So hard to believe Aaron is already a year and a half! (That phrase is going to get VERY used, isn't it?). Blogging (as well as many other things) has fallen lower and lower on the priority list as Aaron is increasingly more mobile. He gets into everything! He's been doing so many things, like climbing up on furniture, and taking tumbles of course. He is still OBSESSED with lights, remotes, buttons, etc. He loves to watch his Praise Baby DVD and asks for it daily now. He knows SO much and tries to talk about SO many things, sometimes babbling entire conversations with us, but we still can't make out too many distinct words. :) While I can't wait to hear actual words coming out of his mouth, I will so miss the adorable babble of this stage.

He is more and more social, really enjoying time with other kids his age. He is more defiant, wanting to take toys away and getting very mad when things are taken from him. We're starting on the concepts of sharing and having a "good attitude." Can't start too early! He is also learning how to appropriately respond to correction and discipline, which is awesome. It's so wonderful to see the fruits of obedience to God's commands to discipline your children in love. We are so thankful that Aaron's little spirit is already showing signs of obedience and respect.

We don't have any stats as of yet because we had to change our well baby check up into a sick baby check up. :( He had yet another ear infection, which prompted the doctor to refer us to an ENT for a second opinion. We'll see how that goes, we may be looking at tubes. Yikes! Until he's better, we'll have to postpone the check up and immunization shots. He's so much taller, I can't wait to see how much he's grown!
His hair is so long again, it's time for another hair cut. We're still doing cloth diapers, and they seem to be holding in the wetness for now. Not sure if we'll make it to potty training in them, but that's my hope as of now.
