Aaron rang in the New Year with a few new "skills" he learned, especially while his Mimi, Aunt Hannah, Uncle Jordan, and Gramps Byrd were in town. :) (Uncle Jordan, I'm not sure why we don't have a picture of you with Aaron this trip, you must have been hiding from the camera!) Aaron tried rice cereal for the first time! He didn't really like it at first, but it started to grow on him. It was very special that Mom, Dad and Aaron got to enjoy that experience together, just the 3 of us, one morning together. Aaron started "buzzing" his lips with his fingers...hard to explain with words, it's like when you take your fingers and roll them down your lips quickly, pulling down on your bottom lip to make a noise. I think he learned this from Aunt Hannah. Aaron also started to grab his toes with his fingers, and pull his leg towards him! Funny how something so "simple" is such a big deal with a new baby! We had such a great time visiting with the Byrd family and celebrating Christmas together. We REALLY missed Aunt Rachel but were so thankful we saw her right before Christmas.
